Tony award winner Lea Salonga (Lien Hughes) will briefly reprise her role as As The World Turns' Lien Hughes early next year.
Salonga, who left As The World Turns in August 2001, exited the show to pursue theatre work on the West Coast. Salonga appeared in Flower Drum Song at Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum for several months in 2001.
Salonga's return is expected to last for at least a handful of episodes, though neither side is saying if the actress might return full-time.
